Noah's
Arc (1997)
On
this british 6-episode-drama series (created by Johnny Byrne and aired
by ITV), Peter Wingfield plays veterinarian Tom Kirby.
Tom's father,
Noah (Anton Rodgers), is a vet who runs the family practice in the
Malvern Hills. Tom, who has
no interest in his father's business, goes to pay a visit to his parents
after leaving a well paid job in the big city and while there, Noah has
a car crash and as a result, Tom, reluctantly, ends up staying to help
his father in the practice. As the time
goes by, he becomes involved with wildlife vet Clare Somers (Orla Brady).
In the end
of the first season, Peter left the show — Tom Kirby goes to work in Florida,
USA.

Nesta
série inglesa criada por Johnny Byrne e veiculada pela ITV, Peter
Wingfield faz o médico veterinário Tom Kirby, filho
de Noah Kirby (Anton Rodgers), também veterinário. Noah tem
uma clínica no campo, na qual o filho não tem nenhum interesse
em trabalhar. Porém, quando Tom está na casa dos pais para
uma rápida visita, Noah sofre um acidente de carro e fica impossibilitado
de cuidar da clínica sozinho. Contra sua vontade, Tom fica para
ajudar o pai e acaba se envolvendo com a veterinária responsável
pelos animais selvagens, Clare Somers (Orla Brady). Peter fez parte da
série apenas na primeira temporada — Tom Kirby finalmente deixa
Malvern Hills e vai trabalhar na Flórida. Como todas as séries
inglesas, foram 6 episódios. Uma produção de Whitehall
Films.
